Join the village

Become part of
something bigger.

Ayi exists because every woman deserves a village. And we believe the people who build that village deserve something in return: steady work, real flexibility, and a community that invests in them too.

Because we were never meant to do it alone.

Tell us about yourself

"We're building a team of remarkable people to help London's busiest families run their lives a little better."

Paid and treated well. Part of something bigger.

The role

The second brain — and sometimes the second pair of hands.

This is a professional, flexible role that draws on the real skills you've spent years accumulating: organisation, initiative, problem-solving, and the ability to hold a lot in your head at once.

Think of it as being the person a working mother actually relies on. You're there for the things every working mother does after the working day ends — and everything else she never quite gets to.

Hands-on home support, digital concierge work, and the small acts of noticing that make a household feel held. It's practical, it's varied, and no two clients look the same.

This is as much a doing job as it is a people job. You'll need to be equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and seeing what needs doing without being asked — and also, sometimes, being a discreet agony aunt.

Who this suits

The skills are ones you already have.
Now be paid properly for them.

You're at a natural turning point

Your children are more independent. You've come through a career break, a shift in priorities, or a season of life that taught you a lot. You want work that's flexible and fits around you.

You're brilliant at running a home

You know that running a household is a skill. You're organised, you notice what needs doing, and you don't wait to be asked. Practical intelligence — that's what this is.

You're warm, professional, discreet

You care about the people you work with. You're a steady presence. You understand that stepping into someone's home is a privilege — and you treat it that way.

You want steady, consistent work

Not a one-off gig. Not zero-hours uncertainty. You want regular hours with families who value what you bring — and a team to be part of while you do it.

What we offer

Work you can build a life around

Ayi is a membership service. Our clients stay. So do our Ayis. Once you're matched, the work is consistent and ongoing — typically from four hours a week upwards.

Flexible hours

Sessions designed to work around your life: school hours, part-time, or building towards more. You tell us what works.

Consistent families

You'll be matched with families who retain the service month to month. Regular faces, regular rhythm, no churn.

Proper support

A Home Playbook for every family so you always know what you're walking into. Regular check-ins. A team who has your back.

Part of the village

We're building something with community at its core, for our clients and for our Ayis. You are not just a contractor. You are part of what we are building.

Fair, honest pay

We'll be upfront about what we can offer from the start. No vague rates, no surprises at interview.

Room to grow

We're growing carefully and thoughtfully. If you want more hours or more responsibility as we expand, that door is open.

"I started Ayi because I knew, personally, what it felt like to have someone hold the household together. And I knew what it felt like not to. I'm building the team I would have wanted to be part of."
